Water Shut-Off Assistance

The City of Ecorse will be discontinuing water service for those who are 90 days past due very soon.

To avoid these actions, please pay the past due amount or enroll in the payment plan 34/33/33, which requires you to pay 34 % for the first payment, 33 % for the second payment, and 33 % for the final payment. These payments must be met within 30 days of one another.

If your water service is discontinued, there will be a $70 turn off/on fee assessed to your bill. Please make arrangements to pay your water bill.

Representatives from the W.R.A.P. program will be at City Hall on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 located at 3869 W. Jefferson during business hours. This service is provided for residents who are eligible and qualify for assistance. They will be located in the council study.

The following programs are available to assist with past due bills to prevent shut off.
