The next scheduled election for City of Lincoln Park residents is the August 2, 2022, primary election. Lincoln Park voters may choose to vote in person at their precinct or by absentee ballot.
In-person voters should check their polling place ahead of time to ensure that they know where their polling place is located. We expect all regular polling locations to be available on Election Day. Precincts are open from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm. Please have your picture ID with you.
Absentee ballots are available over the counter in the Clerk's office beginning 40 days before every election. Only the voter may pick up a ballot. It is against State law to allow anyone else to pick up your ballot. Absentee ballots must be returned to our office by 8:00 pm on Election Day to be counted. Ballots can be returned to the Clerk's office in-person Monday through Friday between 8 AM and 4 PM or by using our drop boxes 24/7 (locations listed below). You may also return your ballot by postal mail (postage is required). Please allow enough time for delivery or return it to our drop box.
