Park Maintenance Shift Leaders (year-round part time)

Responsible for grounds upkeep, including trimming, edging, mowing lawn, collecting trash, etc. Performing necessary cleaning activities, such as dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc. Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts, train and assist new employees, and ensure safety standards are followed. Also inspect equipment and communicate needed repairs or replacements to management. Be available to work weekends, holidays and special events. Tompkins Community Center Building Maintenance/Janitorial/Event Setup (year-round part time)

General janitorial service & event setup for the Tompkins Community Center.  Setting up tables & chairs, general vacuuming, mopping, dry mopping, dusting, cleaning toilet stalls, maintaining sink and shower soap and hand towel dispensers, emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning staff office. Garden Staff (full time/seasonal)

Duties include weeding, trimming and general maintenance of landscaping throughout the City of Grosse Pointe Park. Some heavy lifting may be required.
