City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on Dec 27.
Christmas Tree Disposal Guidelines:
Real Christmas trees should be placed at the curb with no lights or ornaments the day of your scheduled rubbish collection. Do not put the tree in a bag. Real trees are processed as yard waste.
Artificial trees can be thrown out with your rubbish. Artificial trees are processed as rubbish.
Report missed rubbish, yard waste and recycling collections to rubbish@grossepointefarms.org.
