Mayor And City Council Members Take Oath Of Office

City of Grosse Pointe recently issued the following announcement.

Mayor and City Council Members take Oath of Office

As a result of the November 2, 2021 election, Sheila Tomkowiak, who ran unopposed, was re-elected Mayor for a two-year term.   Chris D. Walsh was also re-elected as Council Member.  Maureen Juip, who was appointed to fill a vacancy on City Council in 2020, was also elected Council Member along with newcomer David Fries.  All three were elected Council Member each with a four-year term.

Just prior to the November 15, 2021 City Council Meeting, Mayor Sheila Tomkowiak took the oath of office.  City Council Members Chris Walsh and Maureen Juip also took their oath of office along with the newly elected Member David Fries.
