City of Grosse Pointe Park recently issued the following announcement.
Attention Residents:
Indoor Pickleball & Drop-In Pickleball
Drop-In Pickleball is back in the Golden Gymnasium of the Lavins Activity Center! Starting Monday, November 15th, Drop-In Pickleball will be available at the following times:
Monday and Wednesday
Saturday and Sunday*
*Sunday only through December.
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
10:00 am - 12:00 pm
(Don’t forget to check-in at the front desk and pay the $5 daily fee.)
Pickleball Lessons
Pickleball Lessons with Instructor Patrick Cardinali will also be available starting December 2nd . Register on-line or in person at the Lavins Activity Center starting Monday, November 15th. Lessons will run 5 weeks and the fee will be $40.00 per time slot. Both Beginner and Intermediate will be offered at the following times:
Beginners Sessions:
Thursday 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Thursday 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Sunday 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Intermediate Session:
Sunday 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm
(Note: No lessons the week of December 20th through January 1st. Lessons will resume after the holidays on January 6th.)
