City of Detroit recently issued the following announcement.
Don't forget, Detroit: COVID-19 Pfizer booster shots are now available!
You may have heard terms like "booster" and "third dose" going around, but did you know there is a difference?
If you're fully vaccinated, you may receive the booster shot if you've completed your Pfizer vaccine series at least six months ago or more. The booster is available only for individuals who received the Pfizer vaccine.
Third shots are for all immunocompromised individuals after 28 days following completion of their two-dose series of either Pfizer and Moderna.
Appointments are encouraged for all vaccination sites! Call 313-230-0505 or schedule an appointment online at vaccinatedetroit.com. Remember to bring your vaccination card!
