City of Hamtramck issued the following announcement on Sept 14.
There are a variety of ways you can pay the new Hamtramck parking meters, including by app! Download Sentry Mobile from Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details...) or the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sentry-mobile/id990517203) to your smartphone or other device to pay from your phone, locate open spaces, check how much time is left on your meter or add more. You can, of course, also pay at the meters themselves using coins or a credit card.
This is the last week of the grace period for the new parking system. Once the grace period has ended, parking in metered spaces will cost $1 per hour and tickets will be issued for failing to pay.
