City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on Sept 14.
Community Building Rental Information:
We will take reservations on a first come first serve basis for our indoor facilities inside the Community Building (Great Room or Activity Room) beginning on the dates listed below.
September 21st: Reservations for October 2021, November 2021, December 2021
September 28th: Reservations for January 2022, February 2022, March 2022
October 5th: Reservations for April 2022, May 2022
October 12th: Reservations for June 2022, July 2022
October 19th: Reservations for August 2022, September 2022, October 2022
October 26th: Reservations for November 2022, December 2022
We will begin taking reservations at 8:00am on the Tuesday of each week for the months indicated above at the Parks and Recreation Office inside the Community Building. Residents interested in reserving a room will receive a numbered ticket beginning at 7:30am on each Tuesday when they enter the park by our Gate House staff. This number will be your place in line. Staff will not be permitted to accept reservations for any other month prior to when reservations open for specific months. All reservations must be made in person.
The City of Grosse Pointe Farms reserves the right to modify or cancel any rental if the City deems it necessary due to COVID-19, State of Michigan issues new epidemic orders that require modifications or cancellations or a group who is not abiding by guidelines set forth by the City of Grosse Pointe Farms.
