City of Garden City issued the following announcement on Sept 14.
At tonight's City Council Meeting, Garden City resident Ethan VanBelle was recognized as the as a member of the Taylor North Little League Baseball team that won the World Series last month in Pennsylvania. Ethan was the winning pitcher in the championship game and had five hits, three runs scored and and RBI.
Ethan has also been selected as one of the Grand Marshals for the 2021 Garden City DDA Santaland Parade on Saturday, November 27.
Congratulations to Ethan and his teammates on a great victory.
