City of Lincoln Park issued the following announcement on Aug 10.
Volunteers are needed to assist in picking up litter along the shoreline and in the water of the Ecorse Creek. Volunteers are welcome to utilize any non-motorized boats.
The next clean-up will take place on Saturday, August 14th from 9 am-12 pm. Volunteers will meet at either Pepper Park in Ecorse, Council Point Park in Lincoln Park, or Beaver Park in Wyandotte.
