City of Hamtramck issued the following announcement on July 23.
MDOT & its contractor, Z Contractors, Inc. will be closing Meade Ave over I-75 on Friday, July 30, 2021 for bridge replacement.
Because of this, one-way traffic on Dequindre St (SB Chrysler Service Drive) between Meade Ave and Commor Ave will be changed to two-way traffic on Monday, July 26, 2021.
During this traffic change, vehicles cannot park along the curb on Dequindre St directly in front of the apartment complex between Carpenter Ave and Commor Ave. No parking signs have already been posted. Strict enforcement will begin on Monday, July 26, 2021.
Once traffic is switched, vehicles can park along the freeway side of Dequindre St between Carpenter Ave and Commor Ave.
This traffic pattern will remain in place until mid-October, 2021
