Congratulations to Dearborn Heights’ 2 newest businesses, which celebrated grand opening/ribbon cutting ceremonies last week that were attended by Mayor Bazzi, City officials, dignitaries and representatives of the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce. They include:
Moe’s Liquidation, located at 25585 Joy Road (just East of Beech Daly), Moe’s Liquidation carries a vast assortment of household goods, including gills, mattresses, garden items, dishes, patio furniture, exercise equipment, appliances, toys and more. Owner Moe Saad and his staff ensure his store is well-stocked with merchandise, as he receives shipments of new items weekly and offers them to his customers at great prices.
Aya’s Sweets: Located at 22028 Ford Road, Aya’s Sweets owner and one of our community’s youngest entrepreneurs, Aya Islim (who incidentally, celebrated her 17th birthday by hosting this ribbon grand opening/ribbon cutting event) promises “great tasting treats for all tastes”, including custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies, ice cream and more. Currently in her Senior year at Fordson High School, Aya developed an interest in baking sweets a 9 years old, and has developed her passion into a thriving business.
