Detroit Manufacturing Systems issued the following announcement on Oct. 27.
DMS Family: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a severe flu season could be devastating. Getting a flu shot is one safe and simple thing we all can do to protect ourselves, our families and our communities.
An annual flu shot is generally recommended for everyone six months or older—ideally by the end of October, before flu is spreading widely. We are encouraging everyone to get their flu
shot.
Registered Nurses from the Visiting Nurse Association will be administrating on-site flu shots:
Thursday, October 29th from 11:30am-3:30pm
Friday, October 30th from 3:00pm-7:30pm
Flu shots are covered, at no cost, if you are enrolled in our company insurance. If you do not have medical insurance, the cost is $35 dollar and can be payroll deducted by selecting “Clinic
Paid (approval required)” from the drop menu.
