DETROIT REGIONAL CHAMBER: Accreditation Of Walsh Business Programs Reaffirmed By ACBSP

Calcu

Detroit Regional Chamber issued the following announcement.

Walsh has achieved reaffirmation of the accreditation of its business programs by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners.

ACBSP accreditation evaluates aspects of leadership, strategic planning, relationships with stakeholders, quality of academic programs, faculty credentials and educational support to determine whether or not an institution’s business programs offer a rigorous educational experience and demonstrate continuous quality improvement. It certifies that the teaching and learning processes within the business programs offered at Walsh meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.

“Walsh’s ACBSP accreditation aligns with our mission to provide a transformative business education combining theory, application and professional experience to prepare graduates for successful careers. We look forward to continuing to uphold these standards of excellence in everything we do,” said Michael Levens, Ph.D., interim provost, chair and professor of marketing.

“This reaffirmation of accreditation is evidence that Walsh is committed to maintaining the highest quality business education for their students for the next 10 years, just as they have done for the last decade,” said ACBSP chief accreditation officer Steve Parscale, Ph.D.

Walsh’s undergraduate and graduate business programs were first accredited by ACBSP in 2010. Institutions must undergo the reaffirmation process every 10 years to maintain ACBSP accreditation. Walsh’s next reaffirmation of accreditation will take place in 2030.
