City of Detroit issued the following announcement.
The health and safety of residents is the number one priority of the Detroit Health Department (DHD).
DHD is continuing to work in coordination with the CDC, state and local entities to gather the most up-to-date information on the 2019 Novel Coronavirus to educate and protect the public.
To date, no known cases of this novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Michigan.
If you, or a loved one, have recently traveled to mainland China OR had contact with a confirmed case AND are experiencing flu-like symptoms (fever, cough or shortness of breath), please seek medical attention right away and inform the doctor’s office or healthcare facility to expect your arrival.
