Economically disadvantaged students score 904.7 on average on the SAT in Detroit Community Schools (2017-2018)

Economically disadvantaged students scored 904.7 on average in Detroit Community Schools in the 2017-2018 academic year on the SAT exam, the same as the overall average for all students in the district, according to the Michigan Department of Education's 2018 Michigan Merit Examination (MME) reports.

Statewide, economically disadvantaged students scored 912.3 on average in the 2017-2018 academic year.

MME's primary purpose is to provide a snapshot of end-of-year student learning across the state.
