On Tuesday, April 8, former Western International High School standout Isaias Villarreal’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, lost 10-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Wingate Bulldogs.

The game took place at Sammy Cox Field. This was their second matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 4 p.m. at Sammy Cox Field against Francis Marion Patriots.
