On Tuesday, April 1, former Western International High School standout Isaias Villarreal’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Coker Cobras.

The game took place at Sammy Cox Field. This was their second matchup against the Cobras this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Sammy Cox Field against Belmont Abbey Crusaders.
