Megan Spanitz, who serves as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Strategy Officer at the Detroit Regional Chamber, has been recognized as one of WJR 760 AM’s “Women Who Lead” honorees. The radio station selected 12 women leaders from across the Great Lakes region for their influence in their communities and efforts to drive progress.
Spanitz recently appeared on air with Ann Thomas of WJR to talk about her professional journey at the Chamber. She discussed her beginnings in 1999 writing newsletters and her advancement to a top leadership role. Spanitz credited her career growth to opportunities offered by the Chamber, her belief in its mission, and her passion for working with colleagues.
