On Sunday, May 4, former Detroit Edison Public School Academy standout Marwynn Matthews Jr.’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field. This was their third matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 3 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field against Valparaiso Beacons.
