On Friday, May 2, former Detroit Edison Public School Academy standout Marwynn Matthews Jr.’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, won 14-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 11:05 a.m. at Robert J. Bobb Stadium at Hyames Field against Central Michigan Chippewas.
