The Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) is set to return to Detroit for another game following its successful inaugural season Takeover Tour. The event will feature a match between the New York Sirens and the Minnesota Frost at Little Caesars Arena on Sunday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m.
Last year, Little Caesars Arena achieved a record attendance for U.S. professional women’s hockey with 13,736 fans during a PWHL game in Detroit.
Fans attending on Sunday can enjoy a doubleheader by watching the Detroit Red Wings play at 1 p.m., followed by the PWHL game in the evening. Tickets for the PWHL event start at $26, with arena doors opening at 6:15 p.m.
Parking throughout The District Detroit will be available, and purchasing parking ahead of time via ParkWhiz is advised. Rates change at 2 p.m., with Temple West and Trinity Health Garages recommended as convenient options for attendees.
Additionally, practices for both teams will be open to the public on Saturday without charge. A total of 300 fans can watch New York and Minnesota practice on BELFOR ice at Little Caesars Arena. Following their respective practices, select groups of fans will have opportunities for meet-and-greet sessions and autograph signings with players from each team.
