Eleven players contributed to the Detroit Red Wings' 6-2 victory over the Seattle Kraken, marking their seventh consecutive win. This streak equals the team's longest since January 2012. Head coach Todd McLellan emphasized the importance of balanced scoring: “You can’t just have Patrick Kane, Dylan Larkin and [Lucas Raymond] doing all the scoring.”

Goalie Cam Talbot made 31 saves for Detroit, which improved its record to 20-18-4. Dylan Larkin, who scored a power-play goal and an assist, credited McLellan's influence: “Todd has come in, and we’ve worked on a lot. I think it probably starts with practice -- his intensity and how we practice."

The Red Wings had a strong start, scoring four goals within the first eight minutes. Marco Kasper initiated the scoring early in the game with his fourth goal of the season. J.T. Compher quickly followed with another goal.

Alex DeBrincat extended Detroit’s lead to 3-0 with a power-play goal at 6:16 of the first period. The Red Wings have now scored power-play goals in eight straight games.

Patrick Kane also extended his point streak to seven games with a goal that capped off Detroit's first-period efforts at 4-0.

In the second period, Erik Gustafsson's shot from the blue line resulted in another power-play goal for Detroit. Larkin later added his second goal of the game.

Seattle managed two late goals by Oliver Bjorkstrand and Matty Beniers but could not close the gap further against Detroit’s strong performance.

Reflecting on their current form, McLellan said: “You win seven games in a row, you’re feeling pretty good.” The team aims to continue their winning streak when they face San Jose Sharks next.
