Michigan's Earned Sick Time Act (ESTA) and updated minimum wage laws are set to be enforced starting February 21, 2025. These changes will affect workplace policies and practices across the state. To help businesses prepare, the Michigan Chamber of Commerce is hosting a webinar on January 9, offering insights into navigating these legislative adjustments.
The webinar will feature employment law experts who will cover key aspects of ESTA, its implications for employee scheduling and benefits, new minimum wage requirements, and their implementation timeline. Participants will also receive guidance on updating hiring processes, onboarding procedures, and employee handbook policies. Additionally, the session aims to address potential compliance issues before they occur.
Scheduled for January 9 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., the webinar costs $49 for Michigan Chamber of Commerce members and $99 for non-members.
