The Detroit Red Wings are set to face the New York Rangers at Little Caesars Arena on Thursday night, seeking redemption after a recent 4-1 loss. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. and can be streamed on ESPN+ and Hulu. Ken Kal, Paul Woods, and Daniella Bruce will provide coverage on the Red Wings Radio Network.

The first 5,000 fans attending the game will receive a Red Wings Trapper Hat from National Coney Island. Jonatan Berggren expressed optimism despite Monday's defeat, stating, “Both the first and second period were really good from us... Hopefully we can bury a couple chances, we can get two points [on Thursday].”

Coach Lalonde provided updates following the morning skate. Dylan Larkin and Andrew Copp missed practice due to illness but are expected to play. Christian Fischer is also set to return after an upper-body injury kept him out of Monday’s game. Erik Gustafsson will replace Albert Johansson in the lineup.

Artemi Panarin leads the Rangers with seven points this season. Alexis Lafreniere and Jacob Trouba follow with four points each. Lalonde praised the Rangers as "a really well-coached and well-structured team."

Lalonde emphasized consistency for success, saying, “We do a pretty good job of judging ourselves on process... Especially tonight, we have to be really sharp in our entire game over 60 minutes to get a result.”
