The Detroit Tigers have announced their Grapefruit League game schedule for the 2025 Spring Training in Lakeland, Florida. This marks Detroit's 89th season at TigerTown in Lakeland, extending the longest-standing relationship between a Major League team and a current Spring Training host city. The 2025 spring season will be the club’s 60th consecutive season at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Lakeland, located in Central Florida between Tampa and Orlando, is known for its rich history and diverse cultural offerings. The city offers various activities, attractions, day trips, and restaurants, making it an attractive destination for an early spring getaway. Average high temperatures in February and March are 74 and 79 degrees respectively, with rain falling on average five days each month.

Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium has consistently been ranked as one of the top ballparks in Minor League Baseball. With a capacity of more than 9,500, the stadium features seating from foul pole to foul pole and a family-friendly berm area in left field. Premium spaces include The ‘34 Club presented by Miller Lite with indoor bar seating and an all-inclusive buffet for 205 fans. The On Deck Suite accommodates 36-60 people with upscale food and beverages.

The Tigers will welcome several top teams to Publix Field this spring: Philadelphia Phillies (February 22, March 1, March 5), New York Yankees (March 13 and March 21), Toronto Blue Jays (February 24 and March 3), Baltimore Orioles (March 7 and March 16), Pittsburgh Pirates (March 9 and March17), Boston Red Sox (February27), Tampa Bay Rays (March12), Atlanta Braves (March22)and Minnesota Twins(February26).

For the second consecutive year, Major League Baseball will host Spring Breakout games showcasing top prospects from each organization. A team of top Tigers prospects will face Braves prospects on March16in North Port.
