*NEW* Garbage Schedule - Beginning December 5, 2022.
Green For Life (GFL) in conjunction with the City of Flat Rock are changing the garbage schedule. The Friday schedule wasn't getting met properly, therefore going back to a three day schedule is more effective for residents.
Starting November 28th, new recycling carts will be delivered to each resident's house. The new bin will be the only acceptable recycling cart. You will not be able to utilize any other cart for recycling. You may keep the prior bins, but if you want them disposed of, please call the Public Service Department at 734-782-2470 or email at secdps@flatrockmi.org and they will schedule a pick up for you.
Recycling carts must be placed with the metal bar on the cart facing the street, behind the curb. Make sure to leave space between this cart and other items. Do not place the cart in front of signs or parked vehicles.
Resident's North of Gibraltar Road - Garbage Day will be Monday.
Residents South of Gibraltar Road - Garbage Day will be Tuesday or Wednesday.
