City of Allen Park recently issued the following announcement.
The City of Allen Park is taking applications for various city board and commission appointments. If you are a resident of Allen Park and are interested in serving your community as a commissioner (a volunteer, non-paid position), please submit an application, indicating the commission(s) on which you are interested in serving to mayor@cityofallenpark.org. If interested in more than one board/commission, please number in order of preference.
The application form and basic information about the various boards/commissions can be found on the City’s website, https://www.cityofallenpark.org. Click on the Government tab then select Commission & Committees for the information document (Boards and Commissions - Functions, Terms & Requirements) and the fillable form (Application for Boards and Commissions).
Please note that you must save the application to your computer and send it, via email, as an attachment or you can print the form and mail to: Mayor, 15915 Southfield Road, Allen Park, MI 48101-2512.
Although a number of boards and commissions do not have current openings or are inactive at this time, openings occur on a regular basis and your application will be kept on file.
