Trump Campaign attorney Rudy Giuliani is saying questionable behavior by Democrat-controlled cities contributed to Joe Biden’s presidential election win.

Giuliani called out Detroit in particular.

“You could say the same thing about Detroit,” Giuliani said in a press conference. “Each one of these cities are cities controlled by Democrats, which means they can get by with anything they want to do. It means they have a certain degree of control over, certainly control of the election board completely. And they control law enforcement and unfortunately they have some friendly judges that will issue ridiculously irrational opinions.”

Wayne County Board of Canvassers members Monica Palmer and William Hartmann - both Republicans - voted against certifying the election results which includes the City of Detroit.

However, both flipped their votes the next day.

Hartmann said in an affidavit he certified the vote after assurances were given that it would be audited.

“Late in the evening, I was enticed to certify based on the promise that a full and independent audit would take place,” Hartmann said in an affidavit notarized at 6:29 p.m. Wednesday. “I would not have agreed to the certification but for the promise of an audit.”

Fellow board member Ned Staebler, who was called “deranged” for questionable Twitter posts, called Palmer and Hartmann racists despite admitting only 72 percent of the county’s vote could be certified.

Giuliani’s comments come as the Trump Campaign dropped its last federal lawsuit challenging the vote in Michigan.

The Trump campaign is “specifically focused on, as you would imagine, big cities controlled by Democrats. And particularly focused on big cities that have a long history of corruption,” Giuliana said.
