Cost of college went up for all students at Sacred Heart Major Seminary

Tuition and fees rose 3 percent for 2018-19 at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Michigan students paid $19,900 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $575 more than the $19,325 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 3 students received grants or scholarships totaling $27,406.

Including all undergraduates (480), 226 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.5 million, and 55 students took out $176,972 in federal student loans.
