Graduates earn 576 degrees, certificates from Marygrove College

About 36.5 percent of the 576 degrees and certificates handed out by Marygrove College in 2017-18 were to students in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Detroit conferred 121 bachelor's degrees and 89 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences, general studies and humanities programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies. Data shows the school gave out 121 bachelor's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies, followed by 89 associate's degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies and 63 master's degrees in reading teacher education.

The college enrolled 355 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in 355 programs.
