Homeless students score 787.3 on average on the SAT in Detroit Public Schools Community District (2017-2018)

Homeless students scored 787.3 on average in Detroit Public Schools Community District in the 2017-2018 academic year on the SAT exam, a worse result than the overall average for all students in the district, according to the Michigan Department of Education's 2018 Michigan Merit Examination (MME) reports.

Statewide, homeless students scored 863.4 on average in the 2017-2018 academic year.

MME's primary purpose is to provide a snapshot of end-of-year student learning across the state.
