City of Grosse Pointe Park recently issued the following announcement.

Attention Residents:

Movie Theatre Reminders and Recommendations – 

Current movies and showtimes can be found on the City website at www.grossepointepark.org.

Tickets go on sale first thing the morning of each showing. Doors open half an hour before showtime and concessions will be available. 

The movie theatres will be following the CDC guidelines which currently recommend universal indoor masking, regardless of vaccination status.

Dog Park Pass Application Reminder – 

Dog Park Pass Applications are available at the Lavins Activity Center. The building is open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Saturday and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays. Be sure to bring the following required paperwork:

l. Dog License. Dog licenses can be obtained at Public Safety with proof of Rabies vaccination. Public Safety with give you a small slip of paper, which is the license, along with tags for your dog’s collar.

2. Vaccination Record. Obtain a copy of your dog’s vaccination record from your veterinarian. The required vaccines are: Rabies, Bordetella, and DHLPP.

The staff at the Lavins Center will make copies of the above documents and attach them to your Application to have on file and will then give you your new Dog Park key fob for access to the Park. The Application will be provided at the Lavins Activity Center or can be accessed ahead of time on the City website.
