On Tuesday, March 25, former Detroit Edison Public School Academy standout Marwynn Matthews Jr.’s current college team, the Western Michigan Broncos, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northwestern Wildcats.

The game took place at Rocky and Berenice Miller Park. This was their first matchup against the Wildcats this season.

The Broncos’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 3 p.m. at McKie Field at Hayden Park against Miami RedHawks.
