The Detroit Public Schools Community District announced on April 6 that its regular District Board Meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 14, at Renaissance High School, located at 6565 Outer Drive in Detroit.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. The district said the event will also be accessible online for those unable to attend in person.

According to the announcement, all district staff are invited to participate as the board continues its work toward advancing public education in Detroit and encouraging greater community engagement.

Board meetings provide an opportunity for staff and community members to stay informed about ongoing initiatives and developments within the school district. The option for online access aims to ensure broader participation among stakeholders who may not be able to join in person.

Looking ahead, DPSCD officials say they remain committed to their mission of improving educational outcomes while fostering stronger ties with families and residents throughout Detroit.
