The Detroit Means Business (DMB) Annual Summit is set to gather over 300 small business owners and entrepreneurs from Detroit. The event will take place on June 2, 2025, at Hollywood Casino Detroit. It aims to equip participants with tools, knowledge, and resources necessary for business growth through interactive workshops and networking opportunities.

The summit’s primary objective is to impart concrete skills and proven strategies to help small business owners and entrepreneurs succeed. Attendees will have the chance to learn from various experts in the field, many of whom have connections to Detroit.

This year’s theme, “Return to Collaboration,” emphasizes the importance of strategic collaboration in fostering growth and resilience during uncertain times. The one-day event promises a range of activities designed to connect, educate, and empower Detroit’s small business community.

Participants can expect sessions such as “Don’t Panic, Pivot,” which offers new ways to adapt and collaborate; “DMB LIVE & Fireside Chats,” featuring real stories and strategies; “Power Breakout Sessions” for focused insights; “Synergy in Motion” for meaningful connections; “Power Moves” on scaling businesses intentionally; and “Barbers & Beauties in Business,” focusing on unity and innovation in grooming.
