Detroit City FC has unveiled its 2026 kit collection, combining contemporary design with the club’s traditional rouge and gold colors. The new kits feature AlumniFi as the main sponsor on the front, along with other community-focused partners. According to the club, these designs aim to reflect Detroit’s energy and creativity.

The primary kit for 2026 is a dark maroon strip featuring an all-over wave pattern in brighter reds. The shirt has solid maroon sleeves, a red collar, and matching shorts and socks. The club states that this look is inspired by Detroit’s electronic music scene.

The secondary kit uses a taupe body with maroon raglan sleeves and side panels. It is finished with a salmon-colored collar and sleeve piping. Players can choose between maroon or taupe shorts and taupe or salmon socks for different combinations.

Goalkeepers will have two options: a lime green kit with darker trim or an all-red set accented by white details on the sleeves, stripes, crests, and numbers. The red goalkeeper kit pays tribute to the Detroit Red Wings and continues a tradition from previous seasons of honoring local sports teams such as the Detroit Lions and Detroit Pistons.

“For 2026, Detroit City FC has once again committed to identical kit designs for its men’s and women’s first teams, reflecting the club’s long-standing belief that all players who represent the crest deserve the same professional-grade look and feel.”
