Detroit City FC is set to play its third USL W League match in a week at Keyworth Stadium, facing off against Midwest United FC. The game will start at 7 p.m. and can be streamed for free on CBSDetroit.com and SportsEngine Play.

Detroit City FC recently secured their first win of the season by defeating Toledo Villa FC with a decisive 6-0 victory at Keyworth Stadium. Midfielder Kate Childers initiated the scoring early in the game, followed by Abby Smothers, who made it 2-0 with assistance from Hannah Crum. Childers scored again in the 40th minute.

In the second half, Detroit City maintained their dominance with three additional goals. Two were scored by Hannah Crum, and Tatiana Mason added the final goal of the evening. This victory has moved Detroit City from fifth to third place in the Great Lakes Division standings.

Midwest United FC is currently holding second place in the division after a recent win against Kalamazoo FC. They have consistently scored in each of their four matches this season, totaling eight goals. Midwest United faced AFC Ann Arbor twice this season, resulting in a draw and a subsequent 2-1 loss.
