Detroit City FC announced on May 5 its complete promotional calendar for the 2026 season, highlighting a range of themed events and giveaways planned at Keyworth Stadium.
The club said the upcoming season will feature not only soccer matches but also celebrations of community, culture, and entertainment. Each match is set to offer fans different experiences, from music-themed nights to family-friendly activities.
According to the announcement, festivities begin Wednesday, May 20 with Movement Night featuring a bandana giveaway by Finnish Long Drink and entertainment by DJ Godfather. The W League home opener follows on Saturday, May 23 with Dollar Beer Night. June includes Around the World Night on June 6 with global food options and rocks glass giveaways from WG & Sons; Neighborhood Night on June 10; Pride Night with an umbrella hat giveaway courtesy of AlumniFi on June 20; K9s at Keyworth for dog lovers on June 24 with a dog bowl giveaway provided by Strategic Staffing Solutions; and Women’s Empowerment Night with fanny packs from AlumniFi on June 27. July brings Rouge Out with cooler bags presented by DMC (July 18) and Coney Day (July 25), where fans can receive Coney Dog aprons from Old Nation during a nationally broadcast game.
August features Youth Night sponsored by Faygo (August 15) offering tote bags and Motor City Night (August 22) celebrating Detroit’s automotive heritage along with commemorative license plates. September events include Community Heroes Night (September 5) featuring a Special Olympics halftime scrimmage and bucket hats courtesy of Motor City Casino, recognition of impactful local organizations as voted by community owners (September 19), and Hitsville FC celebrating Motown music culture (September 26).
