Former University of Detroit Jesuit High School athlete Charles Turner and his current squad, the Grand Valley State Lakers, were eliminated from the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament after a narrow 69-67 defeat to the Michigan Tech Huskies on Sunday, March 15.
The contest, which tipped off at 5 p.m. at Alumni Arena, marked Grand Valley State’s first tournament meeting with the Michigan Tech Huskies.
