Bill Ford, Executive Chair of Ford Motor Company, and Alexandra Ford English, a Ford Board member, are set to speak at the 2025 Mackinac Policy Conference. They will participate in a moderated discussion addressing issues shaping the automotive industry. Topics will include a company’s core values’ role during uncertainty, strategies to attract and retain talent in Michigan, and the significance of community investment.

Bill Ford has led Ford Motor Company in advancing sustainability initiatives. He has worked towards making it a trusted provider of vehicle and mobility services and has implemented measures to improve the efficiency of its automotive business. A notable achievement under his leadership was championing the acquisition of the Michigan Central building in Detroit. Once a railroad station, it opened to the public in 2024 as a center for innovation, involving Ford and its partners.

Alexandra Ford English has been on the Board of Directors at Ford Motor Company since May 2021. Her career at Ford includes roles in strategy, mobility, and brand development. As the global brand merchandising director, English focused on growing Ford’s lifestyle merchandise by leveraging its brand heritage and legacy.
