The Arizona State Sun Devils, led by former Detroit Edison Public School Academy basketball standout Gabby Elliott, were edged out by the Virginia Cavaliers 57-55 on Thursday, March 19, during the NCAA Tournament.
The contest was held at Carver Hawkeye Arena at 9 p.m.
Elliott tallied 11 points, grabbed nine rebounds and provided four assists in 37 minutes on the court.
